The program “Board Oversight of sustainability for Value Creation” follows the eight Climate Governance Principles from the World Economic Forum. Created by the Board Impact Forum team, the program includes an interactive online platform with 24 Online Program Modules, Quizzes, Peer Exchange on the platform and Two Live Peer Exchange, AI-based Boardroom Simulations, and a Personal Reflection and Intervention plan. With full completion of the program, you will get a certificate from Boards Impact Forum and the partners Scandinavian Executive Institute, Digoshen, and Next Agents. Currently certified participants can be found on this page. After the program certified participants are invited to join an alumni group with interactions and peer exchanges two times per year.

> Board’s actions on incentivization, reporting, and disclosure

In the online learning platform, you will find only recent content, such as reports, articles, and tools. All content is very recent and built specifically for boards.

Videos and digital content

All lessons in the learning platform have relevant videos and digital content such as infographics and games.

Reflection plan

Each participant will have the opportunity to build a reflection plan, leading to specific interventions to be implemented at board level. On the final session we will address and give feedback to all submitted action plans.

1 Boards Accountability, Competence and Processes

In this section we will address Boards Accountability, Competence and Processes following the Principles 1,2 and 3 from WEF’s Climate Governance Initiative.

2 Risk, Opportunity and Strategic Integration

In this section we will address Board’s assessment of risk & opportunities with related strategy integration and transition plans following the Principles 4 and 5 from WEF’s Climate Governance Initiative.

3 Incentivization, reporting , disclosur & stakeholder exchange

This section includes insights on Board’s actions on incentivization, reporting & disclosure, as well as includes how boards ensure of stakeholder exchanges. It covers Principles 6, 7 and 8 from WEF’s Climate Governance Initiative.

4 Reflection, interventions, Peer Exchanges and Boardroom Simulations

In the final section we update the reflection plans and interventions , as well as complement it with feedback from seasoned board directors and experts. During the program we also include peer exchange, quizzes and boardroom simulations.
