This blended structure combines the flexibility of self-paced online modules with the depth and connection of live, in-person learning. This program is specifically tailored for ambitious non-executive directors (NEDs), corporate secretaries, and chairs. All content is directly relevant to board-level guidance and governance, and decision-making.
Total duration: approximately 24 hours online + 6 hours in person – 26 online lessons (between 30 – 60 minutes each) plus 1 full day (hosted by Internetstiftelsen in Stockholm).

Each section at the learning platform is followed by a reflection guide and supported with an AI-powered chatbot. This is an exclusive AI Boardroom Simulator—a dynamic environment where board directors can test their skills and apply key concepts in real-world scenarios. This hands-on experience helps bridge the gap between theory and boardroom practice.

You’ll also engage in peer exchanges, both asynchronously on the learning platform and during live sessions. These are designed to foster learning with and from other non-executive directors, allowing you to share perspectives, in a trusted board-level community.

With extensive experience and recognized as one of Sweden’s most influential women in technology, Robin helps organizations navigate the complex digital landscape by combining digital tools, economic expertise, and innovation strategies to inspire change and drive growth.

Liselotte Engstam: is an experienced board director, advisor, and thought leader in corporate governance, sustainability, and AI. She serves on several Nordic and international boards and is co-author of AI Leadership for Boards and The Sustainable Board. Liselotte was recognized by INSEAD as one of the Top 50 Non-Executive Board Members globally.

Fernanda Torre: is a strategist, educator, and advisor at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and AI. She is Operations Director at Boards Impact Forum, co-author of AI Leadership for Boards, and an affiliated researcher at the Stockholm School of Economics. Fernanda leads transformative initiatives across the Nordics and Europe to support board directors in future-proofing their organizations.

Based on published research

Our curriculum is based on the “AI Leadership for Boards” academic research, now updated and soon to be published by Springer Nature. The original research was made in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology, Stockholm School of Economics, Digoshen, Next Agents, Combient and selected Wallenberg companies, and reviewed by MIT CISL and INSEAD. The updated research was developed with support from the Internetstiftelsen (Swedish Internet Foundation) in 2024 and 2025. Additionally, it aligns with the World Economic Forum Governance Principles and is enhanced with dedicated sections on Sustainability and AI.

To get certified, each participant needs to:
– Complete at least 50% of the lessons on the platform and attend the full day in person.
– Complete all the quizzes on the platform at the end of each section.
– Submit a final survey with your reflections/ interventions on how to apply the new knowledge.
