Presenters
SUSANNA PERKO is an experienced policy officer, sustainability business consultant and analyst with a firm understanding of European climate and environmental policies and measures, net zero pathways and decarbonisation technologies. Currently she works as Policy Officer in DG Climate Action (CLIMA) European Commission on several key European climate and energy files.
She is a published author in the field of sustainability. She recently wrote a book Ilmastouudistajat. Kohti puhtaampaa maailmaa ja parempaa bisnestä (Climate reformers. Towards A Cleaner World and Better Business), together with Aija Bärlund (Alma Talent 2022).
LISELOTTE ENGSTAM has a background in Executive Leadership and CEO positions in European, American, and Indian companies in the technology, engineering, and services industries. She serves as Non-Executive Chair and Board Director at four listed companies and three private companies, as a board member at the Climate Governance Initiative in collaboration with World Economic Forum, and as Founder & Chair of the Nordic Chapter, Boards Impact Forum. Ms. Engstam has a Master of Science in Engineering and Sustainability and is a certified international board director IDP-C from INSEAD. She is a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching, Harvard Medical School. She has been trained as Climate Reality Leader by Al Gore and certified by CDSB in Governance of climate-related risks and opportunities. Ms. Engstam was 2021 and 2022 appointed by an independent international expert jury as one of the top 100 globally in Modern Corporate Governance and a Trailblazer in ESG, Diversity, and Climate.
AIJA BÄRLUND is Boardman Partner, Chair of Sustainability Forum, Supervisory Board and Steering Committee Member of Boards Impact Forum, Nordic Chapter of the World Economic Forums’ Climate Governance Initiative (CGI). Bärlund is a frequent Sustainability Lecturer e.g. at Aalto Executive Education, Aalto Pro and Chamber of Commerce.
