The clock is ticking in the race to address worldwide issues on sustainability. With heightened demand from the society on businesses to lead the way in addressing the burgeoning sustainability challenges, boards of directors are tasked to critically rethink their sustainability agenda and plan to consider what are the changes and renewal needed to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Organised by the INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre, together with EY, the Webinar and Digital Dialogue will delve into the findings from EY’s “Europe Long-Term Value and Corporate Governance Survey 2023” which reveals that there is a critical link between how sustainability is handled at board level and business performance. Effective governance and board oversight is paramount for driving sustainability from target setting to concrete outcomes. To achieve this, boards need to effectively manage the dynamic tension balancing between short- and long-term priorities, leverage boarder engagement, remuneration and reporting to deliver systematic, accountable and authentic strategy to sustainability.
