First: Help Shape the Roadmap — Complete Our European Boards Survey

Before you pre-register for the forum, we invite you to contribute to the European Boards Growth & Resilience Survey — a first-of-its-kind European baseline on how supervisory and non-executive boards are governing the intersection of sustainability, digital transformation, and strategic and geopolitical change.

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your responses will be anonymised and aggregated, and will directly inform the European Boards Growth and Resilience Roadmap, to be published in early 2027. This survey is intended for non-executive and supervisory board directors only.

As a thank you for your time, everyone who completes the survey will receive a complimentary digital copy of “Leadership That Lasts: Building Sustainable Value in a Changing World”, published by the Project Management Institute — featuring a chapter co-authored by Liselotte Engstam and Fernanda Torre from Boards Impact Forum, alongside global thought leaders including Tom Davenport, Andrew Winston and Terence Mauri.

About the Forum

On 7 October 2026, Chapter Zero Netherlands and Boards Impact Forum will host the European Boards Growth & Resilience Forum, bringing together non-executive directors from across Europe for a board-level dialogue on resilience, competitiveness and long-term value creation.

Building on the European Boards Growth & Resilience Series — four webinars bringing together board directors and governance experts from across Europe — the forum will provide a confidential setting for supervisory board members to exchange perspectives on the governance challenges shaping Europe’s future.

Discussions will centre on four defining forces reshaping the boardroom agenda: geopolitical fragmentation and Europe’s strategic sovereignty, the climate and nature transition, technological disruption and the rise of AI, and shifting stakeholder and investor expectations — and how boards can turn these pressures into a genuine source of resilience and competitive advantage.

Through interactive working sessions, participants will explore practical applications of the Chapter Zero Alliance Principles for Climate and Nature Governance — oversight and responsibility, strategy, risk and opportunity, and disclosure and transparency — translating each principle into concrete board-level action.

The insights generated during the forum will contribute directly to the European Boards Growth & Resilience Roadmap — a board-led initiative aimed at identifying practical governance interventions, best practices and enabling conditions for strengthening corporate renewal, resilience and competitiveness across Europe.
